Originally written as a piece for wind quintet back in 2018. Sadly, I tried for a good amount of time but could never get the performers I needed for it. So instead I created an electronic version.
The Josephus problem is what we solved as a group on the first day of my mathematics class in 10th grade. It is meant to reflect the tone of the conversation as we attempted to find the equation to fit the problem. It was a good day.
